Today

Now is a morning tv series that airs on NBC. The program debuted on January 14, 1952. It was the very first of its genre on television and in the world, and it will be the fifth-longest running American television series. The expectancy of today was unchallenged by another networks when ABC's Good Morning America overtook it. Now re-took that the Nielsen ratings guide the week of December 11, 1995, and held onto that location for 852 successive weeks before week of April 9, 2012, when it was defeated by Good Morning America yet again.
